Superstar Sting Visits Many Local Shore Attractions After Concert
Sting, the Grammy winning, superstar recording artist from England, performed on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant this past weekend. When he wasn't on stage, however, he and his wife Trudie really enjoyed their visit to the area. Locals reported that for big celebrities, Sting and his wife were just "regular folks."
Sting was seen at a local diner having breakfast. "When he came into the diner, I couldn't believe it was Sting," said server Leeva Tipp. "I offered him coffee and he said, 'I don't drink coffee, I take tea, my dear. I like my toast done on one side.' Then he had pork roll, egg and cheese on a roll, just like a local! Good tipper, too!"
Later, Sting and Trudie were sighted on the boardwalk. Their first stop was the aquarium. Sting, who is known to be a nature lover, seemed particularly enamored with Lucy the seal. As he watched her swim, he was overheard saying, "What a beautiful creature. Every little thing she does is magic."
Trudie then wanted to try a game of chance. She asked Sting if he wanted to play but he told her he would just watch. "Every game you play, I'll be watching you," he was heard to say. When Trudie failed to win any prizes, Sting suggested they take a romantic boat ride.
The two celebrities squeezed into the children's boat ride on the boardwalk for a leisurely cruise in circles. Sting seemed a bit nervous before the ride began. As the operator was about to start the ride, Sting called out, "Stop before you start! Be still my beating heart!" Fortunately, Trudie was able to calm him down and Sting thoroughly enjoyed the ride
Sting was also spotted in Bay Head. He and Trudie made a stop at the bakery for some sweets. When they were leaving the bakery, a couple of overzealous fans got a little too close to the celebrities. Luckily two Bay Head police officers were nearby.
Officers Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland of the Police intervened. "We offered to arrest the fans," said Copeland, "but Sting didn't want that. He said, 'Free... free... set them free!' He and his wife were really nice. They even bought us some donuts!"
Your photo of Sting and spouse on the beach is obviously fake.
ReplyDeleteActually, the picture of Sting and his wife are real. It's the kids, sand and ocean that are fake.
DeleteIt’s real, come on!
