"Other Sinatra House" on Point Beach Boardwalk Listed for Sale

This week the famous "Sinatra House" on the Point Pleasant Boardwalk was put up for sale. For almost three decades, visitors to the Boardwalk could enjoy hearing songs by "Old Blue Eyes" playing through speakers outside the gorgeous home as they strolled by. Considering that Frank Sinatra recorded over 1,200 songs, there was a lot of music for everyone to enjoy. What some people do now know is that there is another "Sinatra House" on the Boardwalk that is also up for sale.

A short distance from the well-known "Sinatra House" there is a house that also plays music for the public, but without the reputation. "I've been a huge Sinatra fan ever since I was young," said homeowner Boots Walken. "When I heard that other house playing the greatest hits of Frank Sinatra, I thought I would do the same. The difference is I'm a fan of Nancy Sinatra."

Nancy Sinatra is the daughter of Frank Sinatra. While also a singer, she never achieved the notoriety of her father. "Nancy Sinatra really only had two songs that anyone has ever heard of," said Walken. "One is These Boots are Made for Walkin' and the other is a duet with her father called Somethin' Stupid. That song is kind of weird because it's a love song sung by a father and daughter, but still a great tune. Two popular songs may not be a lot, but I love them. So, a few years back I started playing the two songs on a continuous loop on outside speakers for everyone to enjoy!"

Walken's neighbor, Ima Sikuhvit, was surprised to hear that the Nancy Sinatra House is for sale. "Really?! Oh my god, that's the best news I've had in years! Do you know the torture of hearing those same two songs day after day for years? We've tried insulating our house, calling the police, and even suing. Nothing worked. I might buy the house myself just so I can tear it down."

Realtor Ward Jameson is listing the home for $4.4 hundred thousand. "Some may consider the price a bit too high based on the dilapidated and malodorous state of the property, but we will entertain other offers," said Jameson. "I think when buyers consider the many unique features of the property, they'll be impressed or flabbergasted, one of the two."

Here is Jameson's listing:

“Get those boots walkin'' ~ The Other Sinatra House is for sale! A stolen idea that has brought noise to the residents & visitors of Point Pleasant Beach for far too long. Welcome to the Nancy Sinatra House! Even if you took away that whole Sinatra thing, you still have a home deceivingly miniscule at over 300sf, in arguably the worst location on the boardwalk! While other properties have limited or offsite parking, this property has zero car parking! This one won't last... because the termite damage is really severe. (Buyer responsible for all certificates, pending lawsuits, mold remediation, and seller's moving costs.)

An open house for the Nancy Sinatra house is scheduled for next weekend. Visitors will be required to wear hardhats and sign safety wavers before entering the house.

In related news, the Frank Sinatra Jr. House in Brielle, which is a cheaper, less impressive copy of the Point Pleasant Frank Sinatra House, is not for sale as of this writing.
